Roberto Faraone Mennella grew up just south of Naples, Italy, at the foothills of Mount Vesuvius, and east of the small city of Torre del Greco. There, the Fararone Mennella family estate sits nestled amongst acres and acres of beautiful greenery and floral farmland. It was here that Roberto found his inspiration and taking advice from his grandmother, Stella, he decided to pursue a degree in Design. After attending the Universita’ Federico Secondo in Naples, Roberto moved to New York City to continue pursue his true passion. In 1999, he graduated from the Parson School of Design, and in 2001, he and childhood best friend, Amedeo Scognamiglio (a master carver of luxury cameos) , founded FARAONE MENNELLA by RFMAS., launching a widely successful career designing some of the finest jewelry the world has ever seen.
