Ijadi Gem was established in 1988 by present owner and president, Sam Ijadi, and has been one of the leading importers and distributors of fine gemstones to the industry. Ijadi Gem’s main source of sales and specialization has been with fine Sapphires of the Ceylon origin with exceptional cutting in various shapes and colors. The product line is directly imported from various parts of the world, such as: Sri Lanka and Thailand. The majority of the company’s sales are made in New York, to a diverse client base of gemstone dealers and jewelry manufactures, but recently, the company has been seeking means to amplify it’s sales by selling to foreign market overseas. Ijadi Gem participates in six trade shows annually, both domestic and international.
