A recognized and experienced jewellery expert and advisor, John Souglides has had over 20 years of success in the international jewellery business. After several years at David Morris, he next held the position of Vice President of Lalaounis in London and later went on to join international auctioneers Philips de Pury. Most recently, John held the positions of International Sales Director and Head of Private Sales at Christie’s London. He was predominantly responsible for international business development efforts, with a special focus on Greece and emerging markets including the Middle East and Russia. His participation was instrumental in private collections including those of Christina Onassis, HRH Princess Margaret and jewels from the collection of Princess Katharina Henckel von Donnersmarck. Since founding JS Jewels Ltd in 2010, John has specialised in providing professional and discreet advice in the acquisition and selling of fine and important jewels, both for corporate and private purposes. With the unique benefit of a worldwide network of important collectors, private clients and prominent dealers, John continues to complete many successful sales within the international jewellery market.
