Galatea Pestre learned the techniques of metal and jewelry at the Olivier de Serres school, then at the AFEDAP. She organizes numerous exhibitions in hometown and abroad to promote contemporary jewelry. With the association From a jewel to the other , she coordinates the Jewelry Circuits Workshop d'Art de France, an event bringing together 6 months sixty exhibitions of jewelry. On this occasion, she participated in the exposition In the line of Fire at Museum of Decorative Arts , and became commissioner for the international exhibition of four months from the Forney library: Precious Passages . Galatea is one of the artists of the Gallery Residences, a space dedicated to a contemporary jewel in the heart, whose concept is based on the pooling of the location by artists and revolves around events related to the jewel in art and fashion.
