All the groups in the coral industry, including the Japan Coral Association, have come together and established the council in order to work on conserving and nurturing coral. We support academic research and studies on precious coral, we work to inform people at home and abroad about the charms of precious coral, and we also work on projects aimed at the sustainable use of marine resources. We will promote the value of precious coral, using the wisdom and ingenuity of all the people involved in its harvesting, processing and distributing. We also support maintaining a healthy marine environment that ensures the sustainable growth of our beloved precious coral.
