STEPHANIE PELLEGRIN’s designs reflect the lifestyle of a woman, soft and sensual. The designs are authentic and antique, yet extremely durable, contemporary and timeless. The designer STEPHANIE PELLEGRIN was born and raised in France within an artistic environment. She is an artist at heart whose jewelry designs live through her - there is no distinction. Stephanie has always being an accomplished artist since her earliest age. She studied Art History and Archaeology for few years at La Sorbonne in Paris, studying ancient civilizations (oriental, Egyptian, Greek and Roman antiquities), Islamic arts, Asian worlds (India, China and Japan), medieval, modern and contemporary periods, covering large areas in space and time extending from the Mediterranean to China through Northern Europe. She also developed as a little child a passion for drawing and painting watching her Dad who was himself a graduate at Les Beaux Arts painting on his free time... She was also introduced at an early age to Fashion through her Mum and Grand Mother being herself a tailor for a well known fashion house in Paris. Stephanie is also an accomplished pianist who started playing at the age of seven until her twenties. All these fascinating artistic facets that describe her combined with her passion for everything beautiful has given us these stunning jewelry designs. After studying at La Sorbonne, Stephanie studied International Business in London then the USA where she graduated. She then finally settled in New York where she transformed her lifelong passions for design and fashion by launching Stephanie Pellegrin Jewelry. Stephanie Pellegrin Jewelry began as an intricate dream that eventually spun its way into reality. She was initially discovered and launched simultaneously by Fragments Showroom and Henri Bendel-5th Avenue in New York City in 2004 where she did trunk shows there for many years. While Stephanie was developing intensely her line through Henri Bendel, her work was discovered among top luxury jewelry buyers, gaining a great deal of press. Her first collection of designer jewelry received considerable attention, enabling her to make a notable place for herself in the highly competitive accessories market where she had the opportunity to launch and fully develop her Jewelry line. The stone-wired ancient technique Stephanie uses quickly became signature pieces, recognized around the world for their sophisticated yet whimsical style. In today's American marketplace, it is a rarity that any product purchased is from someone who has made it entirely by hand. The business and workmanship of French-American designer Stephanie Pellegrin is a reflection of this rarity. After a decade in business, and a range celebrity clientele, Stephanie Pellegrin continues to learn and perfect her craft from master goldsmiths from all over the world. Stephanie has several hundred accounts nationally and numerous accounts in Japan, Dubai, Hong Kong, Paris and London. Some recognizable retailers have included: Henri Bendel, Anthropologie, Bluefly, Fragments stores, Paul & Joe (London), Tsum Mercury department store (Moscow-Russia), Villa Moda department stores (Kuwait, Dubai & Qatar) , the W Hotels fashion boutiques, Celine (Paris/ private labels), Gansevoort Hotel fashion boutiques (Miami), the Ritz Carlton fashion boutiques (South Beach), Maduro (Panama) and so many more. On the side, she also worked with the FragmentsDesign workshop on some special pieces for some celebrities, movies, etc...She was also be able to fully develop her line in Europe when she started exhibiting her work to countries like France, Italy, UK, Spain, Germany, etc... Her line was selected by the Bijorhca artistic comity in Paris and exhibited in the "Precious Gallery" of the show along with the Swarovski event “Crystallized”. The international buyers' response to her line was a great success. To describe the best the line, I would say that the line's envelope of originality is pushed by combining antiquity with newness. The look of the jewelry line is new “up-to the moment ” while still maintaining a classic elegance and timeless feel. Her designs have been cited or featured in a number of publications including Elle, Zinc, Town & Country, Essence, Femina, Harpers Bazaar, More, Oggi (Japan), InStyle and Vogue on an international level. Stephanie's pieces have become a "must-have" piece for red carpet struts, television appearances and fashion shoots. They have been seen on Sheryl Crow, Debra Messing, Julia Roberts, Grace Hightower de Niro, Natalie Moar, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Norika Fujiwara, Uma Thurman and many more...
